A LensCulture Portfolio account is an invitation-only service designed to help photographers showcase their work and expose it to a global audience. The interface is elegantly designed, intuitive, and easy to use. A Portfolio account allows invited photographers to upload unlimited photographs and present them in the form of projects. In these projects, photographers retain complete editorial control over the presentation: captions, introductory text and sequencing. Once the photographer is satisfied with the presentation of their work, they publish the project and make it public to the world.
With built-in sharing capabilities, the photographer has the ability to post their work to Facebook, Twitter and via e-mail in just a few simple clicks. Photographers have the ability to share and publicize their work — but in addition, publishing triggers other activity as well.
Published work is made immediately visible to LensCulture’s editorial team. LensCulture’s editors have the ability to drastically increase the visibility of the work in many different ways.
